  • I'm sad to say that I cannot give as glowing reviews as everyone else here. I have been to several painting events--although this was my first w Vegas Painting Parties. The location was okay-nothing special. However, when I walked in--no one seemed to be in charge. I didn't know who was the instructor (Erica) was until her introduction and the paint was located two tables over and we had to wait for others to use it. Erica was not very friendly or encouraging, and I actually got nervous when she was walking around the room--as she was somewhat critical of the people around me. This stressed me out and I hoped she wouldn't make a comment about my painting There was little explanation about the painting, brushes we were using etc. I didn't have a medium brush and attempted to get her attention but she either didn't hear me or ignored me so I could get another brush. The audio was terrible--Erica had the mic too close to her mouth so she was hard to hear most of the time. Her comments were somewhat condescending as well, at one point said "I would give you all advice but I don't want to offend you". Myself and the people around me were confused and couldn't see the painting very well so we tried to follow each other vs what Erica was doing. I have been to PaintNite and I can say they are a much classier group to do a painting party with. They greet you at the door, have all your materials ready, have excellent audio, explain the bushes, and actually take the painting around the room so everyone can see it. They make it a fun and positive experience and work hard to make sure you have fun and are enjoying yourself. They encourage you to not stress about the picture and to be creative. They also offer a discount code for all future attendance to other events--encouraging you to come back to more events. They have much more options for paintings and locations and are overall a very professional company. Overall I didn't enjoy my experience with Vegas Painting Parties and will not provide any future business-- I'll stay with PaintNite.
