I definitely love Ocean's, it's as good as it gets in terms of asian supermarkets and holds its own in the reign of T&T Supermarket chains (which I still love but in certain aspects I would prefer Ocean's to T&T). I live super close in the area, which is always a plus, but notice that it gets really packed with customers - I had to wait forever to get checked out on a weekend because there were so many people!
I'm a sucker for their weekly deals... especially their fresh sushi to-go. Honestly I grab a box every week, no joke, and they're made fresh daily and definitely on-par with some sushi restaurants. When it gets later in the night, expect a discount as well! My boyfriend enjoys the fresh viet buns, and I've tried some of their dim sum which was great. I really like that they are a huge success on their fresh foods.. I know T&T had the same type of thing going on, but ironically I rarely bought fresh foods from T&T.
I think my favourite section is the BBQ section. They have fantastic deals on it and the char siu and free-range chicken deals are one of my faves - it means yummy dinners that week!
The only negatives about Ocean's: bakery section is lacking, breads and cakes are not as creative and tasty as T&T, and they don't accept credit cards (cash and debit only) which is inconvenient sometimes.
