One star because I had to. Front desk girl lied to me when I called in asked to speak to the gym manager. She was condescending and said that she could help me. I asked if she was a supervisor and she said, "no and a manager won't be available for a few hours." I asked if there was any supervisors available and she said that they are all busy and that I can wait on hold for 20-30 min. I was appalled. Luckily, I was driving and the banter between the front desk girl and I for 10 minute gave me the chance to redirect my route to the that gym. I walked in while I was still talk to her and told her that I'll hold. As soon as she put me on hold, she started laughing and said, out loud- she can wait all day for all I care. I walked up to the desk and asked her to speak to a manager (who was sitting behind her) and she said sure may I have your name. I said, I'm the one sitting on hold for 20-30 minutes! I cancelled my membership and my daughters membership. I called my sister and mother and they canceled as well. This specific person represented LA Fitness and lost 4 memberships. Oh and the manager apologized emphatically and said she will work on retraining her. She asked if she could waive some dues and keep our business, I said no, thank you and good luck...
