  • Stumbled upon Go Pretzel on my Christmas Eve(ish) trip to the Clark Building. Bought a box of 6 for $18 and change, which seemed a bit steep, but I'm willing to pay a premium to support local small business owners. I liked that I could mix and match any flavor for that price, including the hefty fresh jalapeño & cheese and the loaded pepperoni & cheese- topped pretzel. The real star, though, was the traditional salted version. It was buttery and fluffy, with a perfect hint of sweetness (honey?). The center 'knot' was doughy goodness for a carb lover like me. A close second prize goes to the toasted almond, which is coated in shards of lightly sweetened, crispy almonds that are so delicate and densely distributed that they look like sesame seeds on first glance. Overall, a delicious addition to the Liberty Ave corridor. I just wish parking was easier!
