  • It may have been an off day for the salon, but my (one and only) experience at Bob & Paige was uninspiring from the start. Extremely busy, hectic place -- great for the owners but not the least bit relaxing for the client (don't people want to de-stress when they have their hair done?) One guy asked me 4 times, in the span of 5 minutes, if I wanted a drink. After the 3rd "No, thanks", I wondered if he had even bothered to look at my face, or perhaps I'm just incredibly easy to forget. Then there was the cut. After showing the stylist a picture, explaining in detail what I wanted, and imploring her not to cut it too short ... well, you can see where I'm going here, right? The pixyish style never looked good and took months to get to the stage where it could be cut and styled again -- but not by anyone at Bob & Paige.
