  • Well let's see here. I have been dying to check one of these out since AMEX has been losing airline access left & right. Plus dropping the guest policy just makes me think that much harder if I keep this card or just use my Chase Reserve that now also has Priority Pass. So the only thing that will really seperates AMEX are these lounges. I really hope they are better in other cities. This was a typical lounge and nothing more special. The only redeeming quality is you can bring in guest like old days without paying for them and they had a full service bar & dinner buffett. Which were pretty good. Other than that....if your thinking of getting the AMEX card for lounge access I wouldn't say this has pursuaded me to keep the card rather the contrary to finally let go of my card that I have had for all these years....the memories when I could go into American, Contintental, US Air, Delta but with mergers happening left and right the card hasn't bee keeping up. I really hope AMEX somehow keeps the Starwoods perk going after the Marriott merger.
