I called time and time again to her, her supervisor and even another rep that worked with Denise and they sparingly got back to me. And when they did it was only to be fed ambiguity and very vague details and nothing that was really informative. It is not like Cox customer service set me up and then Denise was trying to fix and pick up their mistakes. This Denise Hoffman was the same Denise Hoffman who promised me the promotion and then later could not figure out for anything why she could not make it work. I must have sent a dozen or so emails and calls in the two weeks waiting for a response. When I finally did get a decisive (well, I would not call it exactly decisive, but it was an answer) answer, I was shocked! The lady at Cox HQ told me that the promotion that Denise had promised me never existed. That there was "no code" for it. Denise, if that code never existed and there was no such promotion, why did you not notify as soon as possible after you connected our service that there was going to be no such promotion? As a matter of fact, why did you wait not 1, not 2 but 3 months to tell me? Cox Hq did not know, Denise (before she ignored me a million times) did not know and even the Cox investigator did not know. I guess every one must have drank the cursed potion of amnesia. Or maybe this was premeditated for Denise to get her sales check and quick pay and never intended to tell me. And that is just it. The crazy thing is that she never did actually tell me. I finally found out through Cox HQ. Shame on you Denise and shame on Cox for allowing such incompetence to go on there.
The final shocking conclusion is this: when the investigator from Cox finally came to a consensus, he concluded that "I was supposed to contact them" and that I hadn't and that is why I was in this mess. I do not have enough memory in my Gmail account, the inclination, patience or time to answer or address to such stupidity. Denise, would you like me to forward you all of the emails I have sent you? Some of which I cc'ed the apartment and your boss on. I know they sure have those. Cox is dishonest . as company. You may have the inclination to think that this is a small civil between a small family man like myself and a sales woman. I assure you it is not a small deal. We see large corporations like this all of the time try to take advantage of the customer either by making up lies such as this one or by simply never getting back to them.
To come to a close, the only good thing that came out of this that I am getting a refund sent to me for what I had asked for in the first place and this months bill scratched with the help of the Cox investigator. This has NOT happened yet. We will see if Cox "forgets" to send that as well, but worst provider I have ever had to deal with and the most flagrantly dishonest also.
