| - Came to Du-Par's after getting the recommendation from someone who really enjoys pancakes and also enjoys Vegas. Du-Par's is located inside of the Golden Gate Casio which is on the North End of Fremont Street. If you walk all the way to the end of Fremont Street, but before crossing the street to the Plaza, you go into the last door of the Golden Gate on the left hand side. Once you walk pass some slot machines you will see the restaurant in the back.
The restaurant is not big at all, with maybe like 3 or 4 largish tables, and the rest being small tables for 2-4 people, it could be hard for people wanting to come in with a large party. I came here for breakfast and quickly realized that the breakfast menu is quite small. Your options are really pancakes and eggs, pancakes, eggs or waffles. I went with uhh, pancakes, as Esquire magazine said that these are the best pancakes.
Are the pancakes good? Yep, maybe some of the best I've had too. They are quite big, and with two pancakes I was full. They are quite spongy, perfectly round and the are cooked to a nice golden brown. The rest of my party had everything from french toast to waffles and even just plain ol' eggs. Everyone really liked what they ordered.
Just a note: I heard this place gets pretty packed, so make sure that you get there early.
