| - We all have a nasty dirty secret dark side to us all. Admit it. You've watched porn at some time in your life. Or still do at times. Or constantly. You know the names, the faces, the boobs, the butts, the piercings, the tattoos, the junk, the squirters and the money shots. You've seen porn flicks as quickie sex scenes, to movie parodies, to feature length films. When you attend the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo it's like going to DisneyWorld for the XXX porn industry.
Yeah, I have no shame in my game admitting I have been here a few times getting my freak on. Back in the days when it was at the Sands Expo Center and it's current run at the Hard Rock casino. It many times ran the same week as the CES Show, and a few of us would make the pilgrimage over to where it was being held. Hey, it's Vegas baby. Gotta check out all the sights!
From Jenna Jameson to Sasha Grey to Lisa Ann to Jesse Jane to Ron Jeremy to Mandingo and Peter North and so many others well known along with new performers and older stars they all can be found working the booths, and the crowd, at this den of debauchery.
Walking around you'll find all kinds of things going on - all the major porn production companies here from Vivid to amateur, porn stars signing autographs, girls performing at the vendor booths, some in cosplay, companies selling sex toys and merchandise, meet and greets, and some female porn stars getting half naked and doing some funny crazy stuff with the attendees. Believe it or not there is also a lot of business being conducted here just like at any other convention/trade show. People smoking and drinking and snapping a million pics and selfies with the stars while walking the aisles too. People watching is ridic here.
I thought the show when it was at the Sands was better. Larger venue space and it seemed to also have more vendors and performers. This show has grown in popularity over the years as porn is now seen as more mainstream and people flock to it. At the Hard Rock it seems smaller and much more crowded walking the aisles. Maybe less vendors are here now because of the space and location. Really needs to go back to the Sands in my opinion.
Also, in the past it seemed like it was more or less a sausagefest with mainly horny pervy guys crowded in leering at the porn stars, but nowadays you can find many women also attending. Don't let them fool you, women watch almost as much porn as us guys do, and if they say they have never seen any it's a big lie!
