Played Siena this past Sunday. I've always enjoyed playing here. When I made the tee time, I specifically asked if the course was playable since this is overseeding and aeration season. The attendant said they never closed for overseeding, but course was in good shape and playable. Not so much. Almost every fairway had spots that should have been marked as ground under repair as they were graded and muddy w/virtually no grass on many spots. We were charged $65 for the round. It's unconscionable that they could charge that for a course in such bad shape. I understand the need for revenue, but this was ridiculous. At the very least, they should have been a cut rate of around $35. Not sure I'll be returning since I feel I was duped.
