  • I have moved 31 times in my life, several of them across the country. None even compare to how horrible this experience has been. The sales agents were very polite but failed to communicate any of my requests. It took several days for a driver and since I was not in a hurry I thought this was good news. Alas, it was not. The driver who sounded very willing to be helpful was great but was told to deliver from Arizona to Michigan in 3 or 4 days. I had not closed on the new house and could not be there. Fortunately the builders staff made special arrangements and addedums to cover issues and there representative met the driver. A week later when I finally saw the delivery, nothing was on the right floor and many boxes were crushed and many containers broken beyond use. I was told the drivers help did not show up and he had to unload by himself. I am not sure if things were destroyed then, but suspect it happened before he received it. I will never use these people again. I am sure they will do nothing to compensate for damaged property as I opted not to do the extra insurance because Mike said if a box was obviously destroyed the company would make it right.we will see.
