  • Beautiful venue with the most superb staff and delicious food. Hub and I attended a family's wedding last weekend. We had such a great time. There was the antipasto buffet- fresh cheese & meat platters, spinach samosas, roasted pig, fried shrimp, shrimp cocktail, & fried cheddar balls. The 4-course sit-down dinner included: butternut squash soup, anti-pasta with a la vodka sauce, entree was either filet mignon & grilled chicken breast marinated in olive oil & garlic with mushroom peppercorn sauce served with roasted veggies and potatoes or salmon fillet in a lemon butter sauce with grilled chicken. I love the dessert- it was a tartufo with dark chocolate shell with a melted caramel center and chocolate ice cream. We were told by the bride that the owner's wife personally recommended the dessert. And of course the dessert table- wedding cake, various selections of cheese cake, chocolate cake, layered cakes, various petit cakes, fruits, and pastries. It was an incredible wedding with an amazing rocked out band that reminded me of the Black Eyed Peas. Both lead singers were extremely talented. They can perform any song live- oldies, pop, hip-hop...you name it! The DJ skills on the other hand could use more work. Last but not least, we had so much fun making full use of the photo booth. It was so crazy that the roof fell on top since guests would over stuff the booth for fun. Crazy times and memories!!!
