A previous reviewer said it. This is a school. This is a $12 haircut. This is not going to be a cream of the crop experience, but if you have an uncomplicated hairstyle, it does the job. I have had my hair cut here probably a dozen times and only once did I have to go back and have something corrected (which they do for free). I love that they use the aveda products, including the aromatherapy head massage.
For those looking to have a successful experience, some tips:
- This is a slow haircut. Plan to spend an hour and a half getting it done.
- Be very clear about what you want or if you want something to be different. For example, I usually get some "face framing" layers in the front and I have to ask them to blend them in each time otherwise it looks pretty choppy. But after asking them to do it it looks great.
