| - We switched from Cox Communications to Century Link in Las Vegas earlier this month, even though Cox was working well, because we were promised the same services (phone/internet/television) at a significant savings, with a guaranteed 5 year monthly rate that included everything but taxes. FIrst bill comes in, WAY higher than Cox. I spent over an hour on the phone with them, with 3 different representatives, each with a hostile personality that was worse than the last. Final upshot, they'd honor our original price quote but only if we set up auto-pay. Considering their billing errors, the last thing I wanted to do was give them direct access to a bank account. I was told it was either auto-pay or nothing, so I cancelled after only 2 weeks. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced, including their nightmarish hold music, which is a repeating loop obviously meant to discourage staying on hold.
