  • My family has been going to Pat's for years but we will not be going back. I recently took my car in for an oil change and they came back with a repair estimate of nearly $400. They said I needed a new serpentine belt, a decarbonized engine, and new spark plugs. I declined getting it worked on took it to another mechanic for a second opinion and the only thing I needed was new plugs. I asked another mechanic last week if the belt was fine and he said yes. Also, I've asked around and everyone says you don't need to get your engine decarbonized these days because of how fuel is made to help clean your engine, but I've noticed from posters in the lobby walls that this is something Pat's has been pushing big time lately. I have no interest in going to a mechanic who is just try to cheat me out of my money. I don't recommend going to Pat's at all. Also, $35 for an oil change? You can get it most places for cheaper and they won't try to cheat you out of your money.
