I'm not sure why I bothered making an appointment. It took me a month to get a Saturday appointment. I took 8:00 because it was the first appointment of the day and figured it would be an easy in and out. They told me that it would be about an hour.
At 9:05, they had still not even started my car. It was finally done at 10:15. To me, that is an unacceptable amount of time for an oil change, especially when you have the first appointment of the morning.
The first time I inquired about the wait time, I was told they started with cars that were dropped off overnight. When I asked again when it was finally ready, I was told it was because a mechanic called in sick and they got behind as a result. I'm not sure which is true, but either way, it is frustrating to a customer.
Whatever the reason, having an 8:00 appointment for an oil change and not being done until over two hours later is unacceptable.
I will not be returning to Spitzer.
