  • Yes. What everyone is saying. Seafood City is not just the best fresh seafood store I have ever entered. The produce and meat selections are excellent as well and the array of sauces and spices is dizzying. Maine Lobster is about $12.99 lb which is pretty good for this side of the Mississippi and they are fresh. Really fresh. Flapping around like little monsters. Great fish selection and they will clean or fry it for you. They tend to leave fish in the fryer until very crispy so I ask them to do it medium which means softer and less chewy. We recently bought some lobster, a rack of ribs and steaks for a bbq surf and turf. Life is good. A word of caution. As a kid, I used to catch blue claw crabs out of Jamaica Bay (Queens N.Y.) They are quick, mean and painful critters. Think twice about trying to handle them yourself.
