This resort is definitely dated and has on old feeling in the rooms. Our "balcony" doesn't even fit a chair and faces a parking lot, so I would recommend inquiring about the type of balcony your room will have before booking. I think most of the photos on the website of room views are from the owned condos, not the hotel rooms.
Our first day there was no maid service to our room. The water in the sinks does not get cold and finding bottled water and ice are next to impossible. The pools are so-so, but I would suggest using the lap pool at the fitness center for the best experience.
The fitness center is definitely nice for a hotel. Much better than most.
The saving grace here is that so far ALL of the food has been fantastic.
The bell hops and desk clerks have not been helpful at all.
All in all, this is a nice hotel, but not what I had in mind as a resort. The grounds are what make it a resort, not the experience.
By the way, the water park is only open on the weekends in September. It would have been nice if someone would have told us... we had to ask when we realized it wasn't opened when we went there to spend the afternoon.
