  • I love that I have a slice of Mexico in walking distance from my apartment. I always get the exact same thing at La Tolteca. Chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. Green sauce. No lettuce. With a side of the tomatillo salsa. I should probably try something nice, but if it ain't broke, then why try and fix it. What's great about La Tolteca is that it is a to go place, a sit down restaurant, and a bakery. It's festive and inviting inside even if the Van Buren surroundings sometimes aren't. So to summarize: authentic, affordable and delicious Mexican food.
