I originally went to check out a vehicle for my parents in July and test drove an XC60. I fell in love with the car and in November went back to buy one. I was never pressured through the process and all the numbers were straight forward and honest, I have put over 1k miles on my SUV in 2 weeks and am absolutely amazed, I own a 09 C30 that I love and gave me about 30mpgs, my new XC60 so far has averaged 31.8 mpgs! I have no complaints and it looks absolutely amazing, the sales staff at Volvo has been great and I am happy to own my super safe Swedish ride.
UPDATE: the sales department was great, the service department started off great until I started to have issued with my new vehicle, it has been an absolute pain because they keep saying they cant replicate a transmission issue im having. To top it off they have 2 loaner vehicles only and they are never available. My vehicle has been in 3 times to try and find the issue and never have they found it, it went to another volvo dealer in LA and they found cracked spark plugs but that didn't fix the issue. I just came back from a trip out of the country where I left the vehicle at the dealership and told them to keep it as long as they needed for their techs to drive it around and I came back only to find out they didnt find the issue and the most pathetic part is that my passanger seat now has a big ink mark from a pen and the leather is ruined. So they have now managed to return my vehicle in worst shape than I left it. This is not the first time they scratch somehting but I am normally able to clean it off myself, save yourself the money and go buy a Honda the fact that las vegas only has one volvo dealership is a curse. I could have paid 20k less for a vehicle twice as reliable but I thought I was getting something for my money. Their service department has me pissed and seems to take care of the cars as if they were 18k scions.
