  • Went to Golden Steer tonight with my GF for a New Years day dinner. Let me start off with the service was very excellent from our waiter Scott. We started off with the King Crab cocktail and it was very fresh and the cocktail sauce was delicious and then we ordered a ceaser salad which they made at our table which is very cool that you don't see anymore. The salad was pretty good. My gf had the 8oz Filet and I ordered the Bone in Rib eye with a side of Asparagus and Creamed Spinach. Both of our steaks were delicious and the creamed spinach was surprisingly good. I mean it doesnt compare to Peter Lugers creamed spinach from NY but it was good. The asparagus was not good at all. It was just steamed asparagus with no seasoning on it and it was overcooked and very soft, had no snap crunch to it. The waiter gladly took it off of the bill. I know what I'm talking about, I am actually a professional Chef and I own a company out here in Vegas. Overall the experience was a 4 star review only because the Asparagus was boring and overcooked.
