  • These guys were assigned to me from my home warranty company for an Air Conditioning system repair. If you find yourself in the same boat, just call your home warranty company and refuse these guys. My experience: Before the tech even came out I knew exactly where my freon leak was. It was in the evaporator in my indoor air handler. I have a split system so part is outside on the ground and part is inside in a closet. I had taken the air handler apart and could see that my Evaporator Coil was VERY rusted and obviously the source of the leak. We had taken pictures and offered to show the technician. He declined and went straight to the outside unit. After he hooked up outside he said that we had a leak and were down a couple of pounds of coolant. (wow.. really? You don't say!) Reiterated that the evap coils are very rusted, and suggested that he please go look at them. The tech refused to look at the coil and stated that if we wanted him to look for a leak that we would have to pay CASH out of pocket to him, not through the warranty company. Sounds EXTREMELY fishy to me. I told him I was going to call the warranty company and he said "well I've got to go" Yes.. Please leave and never come back. $75 for him to come out and want to top of an obvious leaking system. I repeat.. Go elsewhere.
