  • Went on a Yelp Mission yesterday with the lovely WhiteFeather to check out this bar which had some reviews from Yelpers whom I trust when it comes to cute bars, but no photos! This is one of those spots you've walked by and wondered about. It's tiny and has no sign. It's simple and lovely inside and has been around for 5 years, it's like a little secret and please note - it would like to stay that way in order to keep a crowd of regulars who are calm and kind and friendly. Please only come here if you are in that mode. I had a lovely Old Fashioned and then we shared a bottle of dry, clean cider - not too sweet, two pints worth for $15, I'm not usually a cider drinker but was so happy with this choice on a hot day. There is also AC, deeply welcome during these melting August days. Tiny simple patio out front, gender neutral bathrooms, small select wine list, affordable basic beers and cocktails, a bartender who knows the name of his mailman and offers him a drink when he comes in. My kind of bar, I'll be back for sure.
