| - Customer beware! I took my car in this summer. When I first called, the owner, Ron, answered my questions, scheduled me, and I had a good first impression. The day before the appointment, I received a message saying that they couldn't get my car in and wanted to reschedule for the following week. I was upset since I rearranged my schedule to accommodate the appointment. Then when I tried to call back to reschedule, they would not answer the phone. It was VERY difficult to reschedule when the business doesn't pick up the phone or call back when messages were left. So when other reviewers wrote that they had trouble when trying to schedule, I can relate to that frustration. When I was finally able to schedule, I went in, and the owner seemed nice. The windows were tinted and when I first got it home, I was very happy with it...until I started really inspecting the work. There were scratches on the tint (it did not happen from rolling my window down since I didn't roll my windows down for the first 3 days). These look to be made from the razor blade they used. Also, the tint was not flush along the edges, it looked like there were bubbles throughout. I understand that tinting can have bubbles for the first week, but they should eventually resolve on its own. The problem is still there. More problems have arisen: one of the windows in the back seat is starting to peel up from the bottom. There are also air bubbles on a few of the other windows now.
The company uses a good quality tint and that's great. However, it does no good to use a good quality tint if the application is poor. The company should perhaps do a better job of training its employees on how to do a proper tint job. Buying this deal on groupon or another discount site will NOT save you $$$ unless you're willing to compromise with bad workmanship. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Rather than having to deal with them again, I will eventually just have my windows re-tinted by a more qualified professional, even if it does cost me a few bucks more.
