  • I have gone to Dr. Ortale for about three or four appointments for various procedures in the last few months. Dr. Ortale is very pushy with what he suggests you get done. I had an appointment to seal a crown and he tried to do four additional fillings in the same appointment that I had not approved. When I did return to get the four fillings competed, he proceeded to do an extra one without asking me or informing me of the addition charge. He has two, sometimes three, patients seated in his office at the same time. He has to bounce back and forth between patients while you are there and that often leads to long appointments with lots of waiting. I think his work seems to be of reasonable skill level. I have had a few problems with his work, but nothing that was too threatening. However, I do not appreciate his lack of empathy for his customers' time and money.
