  • i LOVE st.lawrence market . its one of my few happy places in toronto . i love the atmosphere, i love the old historic building, i love the people, i especiallyy love the food . i really really really wish i lived/worked within the walking distance from here . its impossible not to buy anything here . they have EVERYTHING . fresh produce ? check . fresh ORGANIC produce ? check . fresh meat ? check . fresh EXOTIC meat ? check . fresh organic meat ? gourmet cheese ? 6 mth cured proscuitto ? chorizos ? seafood ? pastries ? nuts ? pastas ? spices ? check check check check, check to all ! :D if that doesnt satisfy you, they have some amazing cooked, ready to eat food as well . i love love love LOVE borsche, cabbage rolls, perogies, tomato & cheese stuffed eggplant & lasgne from european delights downstairs . im also in love with the custard tarts from churrasso as well as their yummy chicken sandwich . and then theres the peameal breakfast sandwich, seafood dishes from buster's cove ... uhh .. maybe its a good thing that i dont live/work near here . :P i cant wait until the warm weather rolls around . i'll be here to pick up some porscuitto, cheese, crackers, bread, olives .. etc etc and head to centre island for a nice picnic . :)
