| - I wouldn't say this 5 stars is necessarily for this Costco, but just for Costco in general. In my opinion, virtually all Costcos are the same and this one is no different. The prices are insanely good, they have plenty of selection, and you can walk in with one thing in mind and walk out with 20 items.
People ask me all the time, is $50 dollars a year really worth it for two people? To which I reply, ABSOLUTELY. Things that we buy in bulk that saves us money, but also saves us time (we basically have our own CVS in our spare room).
1. Toilet paper
2. Paper towels
3. Shampoo + body wash
4. Toothpaste
5. Laundry Detergent
6. Dish soap
7. Frozen foods because they last forever and are phenomenally priced.
For items that have a short expiration date (like milk), we go elsewhere because we can't drink 2 gallons in the next 10 days. However, for anything that is not perishable, or is frozen, Costco is hands down the best most convenient place to go.
What makes this $50 bucks a year truly worth the cost though? GAS + FOOD COURT! On our bi-weekly trip to Costco, we almost always get the hotdog deal at the food court...$1.50 for a big hotdog and a drink. Insane deal, one that has saved us a bunch of money. We also fill up gas.
In gas alone, we have saved more than $50 bucks over the year, so that alone makes the membership a "no brainer." Everything else is just icing on the cake
