  • Great boutique shop that introduces customers to the joys of balsamic vinegar and olive oil tasting. I met Betsy at the Peoria Farmer's Market a couple of weeks ago. She introduced me to balsamic drinking vinegar. My son loves vinegar. He drinks Olive Garden balsamic vinegar and Chinese Black vinegar. I thought he'd love to try proper drinking vinegar. Today, we went to Olive Gourmet, and we were blown away by the number of olive oils and balsamic vinegar flavors. There must be over a dozen white balsamic vinegar flavors alone. Dietrich narrowed his favorites down to two pear based ones and the raspberry. We brought home a $12 bottle of cranberry pear white balsamic vinegar. Tip: If you wash and dry the bottle and bring it back, you get a dollar credit when you refill your vinegar. Yay! Tip 2: Sign-up for their rewards program and get deals. Tip 3: I forgot to sign-up for their punch card program. I will keep my receipt, Betsy might credit me when I return.
