  • I had an emergency when my rental house in Tempe sprung a leak on my tenant around midnight. I live out of state and called around to some 24-hour plumbing services to see what could be done. I knew I could have someone resolve in the morning for a reasonable fee if I could just get the water turned off, which my poor tenant was not able to do. Several plumbers I called informed me they wouldn't even SHOW UP for less than $125, before they would even LOOK at anything, much less TOUCH anything. The plumber at George Brazil told me I was probably looking at around $600-700. I was horrified. Fortunately, I called Smith Plumbing and explained the situation to Alex-- and this amazing and friendly man told me he was not far away, he would go and shut off the water for my tenant for no charge! I couldn't believe it, but that is just what he did. I would recommend them to anyone and call them again in a heartbeat.
