  • Like the movie from which this bar takes it's nominal inspiration, Lebowski's is fun, quirky and surprisingly substantial. It's a neighborhood bar, where you can easily feel like a regular on your first visit. The staff is friendly and attentive, even when the small dining area is packed. The menu consists of typical bar fair. They don't try to elevate it, or reinterpret it.. Just do it really well. The wings are said to be the best in Charlotte, which I can't argue.. They are really good wings. I enjoy the Carolina Gold Rush, a mustard-based sauce. There seems to be drink specials every day.. At least there have been every time I visit. My favorite is Mystery Beer Monday: you tell the bartender what you like and he/she will pick something for you. What a great way to try new brews?! The Lebowski inspired artwork livens the environment. If only there was a bowling alley!
