  • Apparently writing a review here won't make a difference, but I'll do it anyway. I'm really frustrated with the customer service I'm getting from Hudson's Bay / The Bay. I recently bought a pair of Spanxs leggings - and I must say I loved it to pieces even tough it was pricey - but I'll have to return it due to a damage or defect as you may say. The edges of the waistbands of the XS sizes, according to the item I received from The Bay and from the XS sizes I have seen at Hudson's Bay Eaton Centre, are all stretched out a lot to fit in those horrible plastic hangers that clip the clothes on (you can actually see the marks they leave on the fabric). First, delicate fabrics can't touch those hangers. Second, if one wants to use them, use it from the inside out or, in this specific case, at the edges of the waistband as it is and not stretching it to make it fit. For the record, I didn't find this problem with bigger sizes at the store. Which means, the damage in all XS sizes I've seen have been caused by mishandling, and not by manufacturing. Same goes to the warehouse, where allegedly my item came from. I called The Bay a couple of times to no avail. I emailed a couple of associates at customer care, also to no avail. All I get as answer is that they are sorry and that I can return the item or that they can send me another one. They don't listen that it's not a matter of sending me just another one, but to send me one with no damage. It's been over a week from my purchase and so far no one solved my problem. What I believe is my only option is to return the item and forget about it. It is a shame that I loved the leggings and that a store like Hudson's Bay / The Bay, that sells everything quite pricey, could have such poor customer service and care for its products.
