I've been to several Ford Dealerships for repairs over the years, and know when I'm being shucked. I went in for a simple repair and they kept my car overnight. At the same time I got a call from sales asking if I want to trade my 2008 in. The car had less than 50K miles, had never had any major problems, and I owned it, so why would I trade it in to acquire a new car payment? The repair shop did the repair and I got my car back, but immediately after I noticed 2 new problems and brought it back to ask what happened. I was told my problems were not caused by the shop even though I know they were.
I keep getting these emails now about trading in my car for a new one, my car is not a lemon. At least as long as I keep it away from this dealership.
I had to go to another Ford dealership where they repaired the problems, and told me they were certain at least one of them was caused by something the Gaudin technicians did. Gaudin stands by its technicians but I certainly will never bring my car back here again.
Thanks for the headaches.
