| - Wow. Wow. Wow. I can't believe this is the first time we've been here since living in this town for over a decade. How sad!
Let me preface this by saying, the service was BEYOND exceptional. Zayne was just ONE of our three serves. Our table was visited by management at least 4 times. Everyone was conversations with us and really making the service exceptional.
We started with escargot. It was delicious and most importantly, different. It was served with fresh tomato and garlic wine sauce. Then we had the seafood platter. Ice cold. Fresh. Fantastic. Except one extremely small complaint: the seafood is cracked for you and so I had pieces of shell that kept making their way into my mouth. But this is a first world problem and I'm almost embarrassed to mention it.
For steaks we had: ribeye, bone in New York, and of course the Tomahawk. They were all cooked to perfection. Piping hot plates and full of FLAVOR. We got the spinach, mushrooms and potatoes at gratin for sides. All excellent with, again, lots of flavor. The spinach had bacon. The mushrooms had caramelized onions. Not your average steakhouse sides. They had "flare".
Now, dessert. The entire restaurant knew how we were celebrating multiple occasions and apparently, so did the staff because we had a platter full of dessert. Not just one dessert, but pretty much every dessert on the menu. Management, wait staff, sommelier, and our food runner all came to the table to celebrate with us.
This was a fantastic experience and we will, without a doubt, be back!
