  • My garage door broke yesterday. I called A1 this morning and while they initially tried to schedule me for tomorrow, when I asked if they had anything today, they offered 5-7pm. The tech, Tim N., called at 6:30 and was running late - no problem. He arrived, quickly diagnosed the problem (a broken spring) and proceeded to replace my 4 springs, some bearings on the brackets, adjusted and lubed the unit, for a reasonable labor charge. The poor guy was here til after 10pm and has a full day of work tomorrow. He did a great job and his dedication (and lack of whining) is truly admirable and not one that is found in many service industries! Thanks Tim! I would recommend A1 without hesitation!
