I was uncertain about going to see an entire show dedicated to Michael Jackson. I love me some Michael Jackson music but I do not enjoy listening to it for more than a couple of songs at a time. Went to a Friday night show and was able to secure a couple of seats that were left at a decent price, $140 each for section 201, row EE, seats 1 and 2. I have seen the Lion King in the same theater and sat in the same row but in the middle and it was not much difference. There were VIP/producer seats available probably a good 20 feet in front of us but towards the middle and those went for about $220/each. I would recommend to save your money and go with the cheapest option available. The theater is not that big and you will probably have a better view of the entire show from the back because there are things happening from the ceiling in the middle of the theater and if you are sitting in the front section it may be difficult to see.
Songs were cool. Many of the acts were just a few people dancing on stage. I have seen much better from Cirque de Soleil but I greatly appreciated the hard work the performers have put it in to perfect their craft. Overall, I thought it was cool. It brought back a lot of memories from back in the day. Check it out if you are a fan.
