I woke up with a raging ear ache and made an appointment online for urgent care. My appointment was set at 9:45 a.m.
At 10:15, I was taken in at triage, and 15 minutes later I was sent to a room. The nurse informed me that they were running behind, and she apologized for the wait.
This urgent care ALWAYS has a long wait, so I figured it wouldn't be much longer than normal. WRONG. So wrong! It's now 11:40, and I STILL have yet to see a doctor! 15 minutes ago, I told the nurse that I haven't been seen yet, and I have work at 1. Apparently one person is still ahead of me. She asked me if I would like to wait to be seen or leave! REALLY?! I've been waiting for 2 hours WITH an appointment!! And WHY would I get up and leave if I have an earache? Do they REALLY think that I'm going to come back tomorrow and wait for another two hours or more???
This has been the biggest inconvenience today! Why would this place encourage online appointments if they fail to ACTUALLY acknowledge them?!?!
