Four of us tried EllaEm's for lunch. Restaurant was very clean; had a 60's diner fell.
Lunch specials were $8. Which included 2 sides. Portions were very generous.
I tried the fried catfish with Mac & cheese, and red beans & rice. I received 5 ample pieces of fish which was nicely breaded. Sides were very tasty.
Second fried ordered baked chicken with fried cabbage. Cabbage was flavored well. Chicken was very moist, and nearly fell off,the bone.
The other two diners ordered grilled shrimp and fried cken. The grilled shrimp had good spices and flavor. The fried had tasty breading.
Service was excellent! Our beverages were never empty!
I am anxious to return to try other selections!
