  • STAY AWAY! We made the mistake of getting a construction loan through this bank to renovate our house. There were so many red flags before we signed the closing docs, we should have known they would be a pain to work with. First off, we were approved for the loan in early August, however, they couldn't get their paperwork completed until December. We were on a time crunch because we have a new addition to the family arriving in March, so they initially told us they would help us get this going as quickly and smoothly as possible. So we found a contractor and got in all of our paperwork, only to sit around in the dark for over a month waiting to hear back on the progress of the paperwork. Then, when we did hear back from them, it was to tell us that they forgot to ask for some additional documents, so then i had to get my contractor to rush and put together these documents that he could have been working on for the past month. All in all, we almost lost our contractor mid project because of the difficulty of working with this bank. If you have ANY other options, go with your other options. You can thank me later.
