Smart and final products on a plate.
After seeing this place had good reviews I decided to give it a try only to find that this little place serves mediocre food and charges $4 for a cup of store bought coffee.
It's an unusual set up inside with no hostess stand or check in area, a seat yourself atmosphere with a view of the "kitchen" and open floor plan for servers to grab your drinks or coffee and garage sale find decor splashed in random places throughout the restaurant.
I ordered the "Divine original" and a short stack of the nutty french toast. My partner ordered the Denver omelet. I was able to see the chef from my table and everything we ordered was pre-made, generic, boxed items. He pulled my french toast out of the fridge and threw it in the deep fryer (why?) to cook, used box eggs, pre-made potatoes and the coffee was from Winco, not some special roast their website claims it to be.
We received our food and were both unimpressed with the outcome. It all tasted bland and like something we could have made at home for less money and a better price. Lesson learned.
We won't be returning but on a positive note the service was great.
