  • My wife and I stayed at this hotel from 5/21-5/28/14 for the NASCAR races. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very good. The room was made up clean every day much to our satisfaction. We ate breakfast here most days and the staff in the restaurant area were very prompt and friendly. We stayed here because of the location across the street from the Nascar Hall of Fame and it's proximity to the downtown area. We were also right across from the Speed Street street fair, very nice. The close proximity to the highways worked out well as we made it a point to visit South Carolina as well as other areas of North Carolina. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Charlotte for business or pleasure. The only ding, if I may, is the parking which is a little limited and there is a nominal daily fee. There was one day that the hotel appeared to sell out and we had to park in the adjacent open lot.
