I was impressed by Sushi Twister. I hadn't found a good east side sushi restaurant, but then we were invited here. We actually ended up eating here twice in a short period of time.
The first time, I had the tempura lunch plate. The veggies were hot and crispy and not too greasy. The miso was tasty. The salad was crisp. It was a weird time of day, so I didn't try any sushi, but it was a great lunch special and I wanted to go back.
I got the opportunity just a week or so later. This time we went for the AYCE. We tried a little bit of everything & even my husband, who doesn't love sushi was happy. The fish was cold and fresh. The selection was wonderful. My only disappointment was the Rum Jungle. The flavors didn't do it for me. The spicy salsa on top completely overwhelmed the soft shell crab inside.
Even though the place is tiny, it's great. The service is good, the food is fantastic. I will be back.
