Just moved into New build on May 12. May 13 Whirlpool fridge door alarm keeps going off until it shuts down lights and ice machine. Whirlpool directed me to GoldWing G2 Genuine Appliance Service 480-615-5700.
1 week later, their tech shows up and diagnoses door switch. Parts come in and 1.5 weeks later a new tech ( ******** ) shows up. He puts the switch in and leaves and no more than 5 minutes later, the door alarm goes off again. I call ****** on his Cell, as he left his business card. He told me to do something with the door alarm and call him if the alarm goes off again. It Does! I call **** and he says he will order a new switch and module. I never heard from anyone so I called 2 working days later and the lady who answered says she will leave **** a message. No call back....So I call Friday ...the girl tells me that **** doesn't respond to them sometimes. I then leave a message for the Service Manager to call me. All in all 3 weeks in new home with new fridge that doesn't work right.

I just got a text from the tech. He states he just got off the phone with Whirlpool and will be ordering a new control board. He was supposed to do that a week ago. No apology in text. They simply don't care.
