  • I stopped in here after finally growing tired of eyebrow waxing at the nail salons. Where, no matter what I said, the tech would usually wax & pluck them all thin and pointy, all girly-like. Maybe it was a language barrier, who knows? Hey, I'm a guy who looks best face-draped by bold thick bushy George Clooney brows. So I thought I would delve into the universe of threading, where my directions might be better followed ... instead of becoming victim to yet another Brazilian job on my brows. This shop, not so far from my home, has scored over 60 five-star reviews ... and nothing less. My experience confirmed. The shop is simply & neatly appointed, clean. I waited as a walk-in for no more than five minutes. No language barrier here. So I whined-on regarding my existential brow dilemma to Sama, who assured me she understood. Shaping was OK, I begged, but please stay thick and bushy, stay George Clooney! The process, which I expected to be painful, was entirely painless. Sama knows what she's doing in that regard. It felt much more as though a little electric razor was running across my brows getting the job done. The work didn't take over ten minutes. My brows, which I had let grow wild for three months, so as to leave the next tech plenty of real estate with which to work, were not as big/thick as when I walked in. Sama gave up a bit of that to define their shape. But they are still plenty full. Kinda Joey Tribbiani full, before his infamous brow-mismatch. [I'll probably grow/go wild again for a while, then ask to go a bit thicker.] So, basically, I got exactly what I asked for! And no pain. And no wait. And for ten bucks. And in ten minutes. Accordingly, Sama and her work are quite well recommended.......
