| - Let me start by saying that my countertops ended up very nice, and the price was fairly good. I will give credit where credit is deserved. However, the customer service was absolutely terrible. I am not usually one to complain, but I cannot believe how flaky this business has been.
First, the salesperson I worked with did not show up for our initial meeting. When I got in contact with her later, she told me that she had left a message. I had no missed calls or messages, but I have her the benefit of the doubt.
I later made a deposit of 50% over the phone. She told me they could install as early as the next week. I requested Thursday and was told it would not be a problem--that early in the next week someone would be in contact to let me know the time window. Wednesday rolls around and I have still not heard anything. I leave a message on her cell phone and on the office phone. By Thursday I still haven't heard anything. When I call the office again, there is a new outgoing message explaining that the office will be closed until the following week because of 4th of July weekend.
The following Wednesday I finally hear back. It's been a full week. She says they can come that day. Unfortunately, I'm at work, and my boyfriend already took off work the previous week when they were schedule to come. We reschedule for Tuesday.
Again, I am still not given a time window. On Tuesday, I am given a 30 minute notice that they are coming. The people installing insult my boyfriend by repeatedly asking if he can call his parents. (He has a baby face but jeez.) He asks when the plumber is coming to install the new sink line. They tell him that it's not on the work order. This is problematic to me, because I paid for a new sink line, and now I don't have any water in the kitchen. They say the plumber will come the next day. The next day, the plumber does not show up. I call my salesperson, and she doesn't remember whether or not I added the plumbing option. She looks it up and realizes the mistake. She says he will come Friday.
Today is Friday. The plumber came as scheduled. Unfortunately, no one mentioned that I needed to get a new faucet, hoses, and drain. So now, here I am in a Home Depot parking lot buying things I didn't know I needed to get so that the plumber who was kind enough to to fit me back in later can return this afternoon.
My countertops are pretty, but at this rate, I would have been better off buying them from Lowes or Home Depot. I'm very disappointed in the service I have received.
