Oahu, Hawaii's long time favorite & family owned filipino restaurant finally comes to Vegas! We were so excited once we found out this was opening up close to my home in Henderson. Food is as good as it gets BUT i must say... not as great as the Hawaii's location. But i'm still a fan! I guess it all depends on the cooks.... The Thelma's special is what their known for which is THA BOMB!!! the portion... not too much for $8 but it's STILL sooo good when you wanna satisfy that craving! I've been craving pork igado for awhile living in Vegas & out of all the filipino restaurants out here, they had it! It all depends on who cooked it though to be honest. One time it would be soo good & perfect & another time it would taste totally off. Unfortunately on my recent stop here, it's not on their menu anymore. I asked the lady (who always took my orders since it opened btw. Super nice & bubbly filipino gal) said it wasn't too popular so they took it off their menu. Too bad because all they needed to do was work on the recipe & it woulda been totally popular. Restaurant is always clean, they serve you, & the workers are really really nice. Not once did I ever have any workers act like they didn't wanna be there. A must try for all you Vegas locals for your filipino cuisine. Oh! Another dish to try is the adobo fried rice. So gooood..... There's actually quite a bit that's good. You won't be disappointed. =)
