| - I have only been to this store once. Usually I would only give stars in that case but to many things are good about If I Were a Rich Man not to give it five stars!
The first thing I want to say is that if you aren't looking for it, you'd miss this store. I f I had known it was there, I promise you I would have reviewed it before! Thank you to green living magazine for introducing me to it. I also would have spent a lot more money there. If you go though, park in the back and use that entrance. The front spaces are almost always full.
My first good impression was when I walked in and Terri, one of the owners, was showing a customer something she had called her about, a Burberry shirt. This tells me they get to know there customers likes and follow through by calling if something comes in to their tastes. That is good! Also, I was there a while, I'm a shopper and I take my time if a store is worth it. this one is. During this time, I was impressed by Terri calling customers by their first names as they come through the door! Another major plus for any establishment that appreciates their customers. I was also impressed by how clean and organized it is when you come in. A store doesn't have to be that big is it is merchandised correctly. It is here. They are also very current with what is in style now.
They really can cover you from head to toe tat this store. Speaking of toes, they have wonderful cotton and cotton blend socks from basic to exotic! I am just waiting for the right occasion to wear my new Toulouse Lautrec socks. Great stock of shoes to put them in as well. They don't take in shoes you wouldn't buy here. Everything from Teva designs I have never seen before to some beautiful dress shoes. I have princess and the pea feet, so comfort is number one with me while still having great style in shoes. I even picked up a pair of grey leather Ecco sneakers that look like my Lacostes. To go on from there, casual and nice dress shirts, denim to wool slacks, to suits. They even knew what they had or didn't have in stock in a 43 short. That really impressed me. I shop and I know what fits. If they had a size which I wouldn't normally wear, I might try it on there. I believe Terri and her husband can inspire that kind of trust in you.
If I Were a Rich Man also has one thing that almost anyone could appreciate, a clearance section. If you are one of those people who didn't appreciate a good buy, you wouldn't be there to begin with. And of course, you will want to look in this area as well.
No doubt I found it to be a great store. I'd like to think it is worth checking out or you wouldn't still be reading this! Thanks.
