  • Slightly pricier because you're in North Scottsdale, but you can find the deals and use your Safeway card. GREAT cheese selection (no discounts there though) and there's an enclosed wine room if you need something fancy in a pinch. Read the circulars for the meat deals. INSIDE SKINNY: Sometimes on Fridays the 8-piece chicken at the deli is FIVE BUCKS. Also, the salt & vinegar wings are insanely delicious. Get them in the morning for best freshness and look for some of the flavor sprinkle on your wings. I think there's a chemical in them that makes you want to eat more and more and more until you're on the verge of an upset stomach. PRO-TIP: Buy only things that are discounted with your card.
