  • First time in the little town of Charlotte and a friend brought me here for drinks. She knows how profound my desire for craft cocktails runs, so this was our first stop for the evening. It did not disappoint. First off I love the comfy darkness of this place. Reminds me of stepping into a speakeasy where you kick your shitty sunny ass day off at the door and melt into a bar stool or cozy chair and sip into a blissful state of relaxation. I loved the exposed brick, the well thought out lighting and the art. The bartender that evening was courteous and prompt. She answered all of our questions without hesitation or any notable sense of annoyance. She whipped us up some fabulous drinks as well. We ordered the Flip'n Branca and Flamed Martin off the spring 15 cocktail menu. Both so scrumptious!! Though this review is only for a two drink experience - the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing and I'd certainly give this place a go again!
