  • I have been going to this salon for about a year and Chantel at first did a great job but then I'm not quite sure what happened! I went there a few weeks ago and explained what I wanted. During the cut I hears an oops and did not think much at the time except maybe she nearly cut herself but then when she was done, I found it odd that she did not show me the back of my hair and I didn't think to ask. Even the style after she dried my hair was off. Normally I can leave there and go shopping and run errands but this trip I wouldn't dare go anywhere but home. Well, the next day when I when to style it, my husband actually pointed it out and that there was square chunk taken from the back of my head. No matter what I did I couldn't hide it. That was Sunday, they were closed on Monday so I called in the morning on Tuesday to complain and that I wanted it fixed. It took several hours for them to call me back and the Manager Wendy finally called and had the nerve to ask that I wait another day like it was an inconvenience for her. I said no, either you fix my hair today or I want a refund. She took me in after I got of work and attempted to fix it and had to take it shorter which did not make me happy because I was trying to grow it. She even noticed the notch cut out of my hair. How could Chantel even let me leave like that. If she was at least honest and told me right then that she slipped and made a mistake and tried to fix it right then, I wouldn't have been so mad but to know that she made the mistake and let me leave??? Unacceptable. After Wendy the Manager was done, It looked somewhat okay but after that the area was still noticeable so I cancelled my next appointment that I had set up for the following month and decided to dispute the charge. They refused to refund my card. What type of customer service is this? I will definitely not be going back and will file a complaint direct with Aveda.
