  • What makes ROM special for me is how it kept part of its memorable past, like the totem poles and the brick original structure, and introduced daring new design, like the crystal, and refreshes with startling exhibits. The new Chihuly exhibit was a joy to walk through. Stunning and vibrant and so well presented. My daughter loves the dinosaur skeletons, the bird exhibits and the fish and mammals. The only drawback is the cafeteria food in the basement - needs a refresh with better decor and perhaps healthier choices to eat. - from a July 2016 visit.
